Frequently asked questions
Who is required to report under the Modern Slavery Act?
Entities with annual consolidated revenue of $100 million or more that are based or operating in Australia are required to submit a Modern Slavery Statement each year. Smaller entities may report voluntarily. We can help you determine your obligations and structure your response appropriately.
What should a Modern Slavery Statement cover?
The Act mandates seven mandatory criteria including describing the entity's structure, operations and supply chains; identifying modern slavery risks; describing actions taken; and assessing the effectiveness of those actions. We help you address each criterion in a way that is legally sound and genuinely informative.
How do you assess supply chain risk?
We combine regulatory guidance, sector intelligence and our MSS Explorer data platform to identify country exposure, high-risk procurement categories, and supplier disclosure gaps. This gives you a clear picture of where risk is concentrated and what actions to prioritise.
Can you help us respond to a regulator inquiry?
Yes. If you have received a query from the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department or are concerned about the adequacy of a prior statement, we can assist with a strategic response, remediation steps, and an updated disclosure that meets regulatory expectations.
